Pravin Gandhi
profiled on "Swadesh" program on Zee
Business
ZEE Business TV Channel's
weekly half-hour show
SWADESH
is aired every Saturday 8.30 pm
and repeated throughout the week. This program is about
Indians who have lived and worked abroad for sometime
but have then returned to their own land and started
their own business.
The objective of the
program is to bring to light the current opportunities
available in the country through the 'comeback'
stories of people profiled on the show.
The producers of
the program discovered me on this very site
www.pravingandhi.com and found my profile
appropriate for the program.
(Prior to my episode)
Swadesh had completed 56 successful
episodes and has won the RAPA(Radio & TV
Advertising Practitioners Association) award
for the best chat show on a news
channel.
Raa' Media,
a television production house, produces this program for
ZEE Business channel.
The show is divided into three segments.
Segment 1:
This segment includes the story of my early life,
childhood, schooling, college, marriage, decision to go
abroad, work experience there and finally when and why I
came back.
Segment 2:
In
this segment I talk about my professional life. The
story takes off from the time I came back to India. I
talk about the difficulties and obstacles I faced in
starting projects, the success and failures and future
plans.
Segment 3:
The third segment carried my views about India, my
message to the youth, testimonials from friends and
relatives and finally, my idea of SWADESH - i.e. what
does Swadesh mean to me.
